Overview

Flow State is a Figma plugin I built to make documenting user flows way less annoying. Instead of jumping between tools or manually drawing diagrams, you just pick your frames in order and hit generate. It spits out a clean vertical flow diagram right inside Figma so everything stays in one place. I designed the entire UI in Figma first, then used Claude to actually build and code the plugin from scratch.

Future updates are already in the works. The next version will support multiple paths, so a single screen can branch into different directions depending on what the user does. Think sign in vs sign up leading to completely different flows, or individual buttons within a frame each routing to their own destination screen. The goal is to make Flow State a proper user flow tool, not just a linear diagram generator.
